Do not innovate, create a culture of innovation

Great Innovation occurs on next curve, as Guy Kawasaki says in his famous speech " The art of innovation", but why companies struggle so much to become innovative? The biggest obstacles to #innovation in large companies is not the lack of ideas, tools, budget or even lack of talents, it is the lack of innovation culture that is required to enable and drive the #transformation of ideas into meaningful, viable and valuable products or processes in a sustainable way.
Innovation is not a goal; it is a process that aims to identify opportunities or solve problems using methods, methodologies, and discipline (not magic).
Innovation is hard work: 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration but unfortunately it is not perceived that way.
Recruiting creative minds, disruptive thinkers and brilliant designers is reinforcing the creativity but will not be key in the creation of an innovation culture.
Steve Jobs worked with a team and went through failures before building brilliant devices.He delivered two key foundations that enabled innovation in Apple:
